This investigation probed into the role of corrective feedback in two adult writing classes of L2 learners at a University of science and technology in northern Taiwan and student’s’ perceptions of a cycle of written corrective feedback. This cycle, offering manageable, meaningful, and frequent feedback from teachers and peers, was inspired from the concept of process writing. It aims to provide a practice environment where students can think, reflect, revise and create language slowly for a real-life audience. Though scattered recent research has shown that written CF (corrective feedback) may improve aspects of writing, many teachers continue to be confused about the practical steps they should utilize to help their students improve.The study which comprises of an assessment of writing needs, an extensive review of the literature,a compilation of students’ authentic writing samples.It measures the impact on students’ ESL/EFL writing skills via a qualitative assessment of participants’ EFL writing experiences, their writing strategies, and their affective responses to their written production. Findings revealed that the study offers a number of valuable contributions to the field.
