Larval Fish Diversity and Diets in the Seagrass-Mangrove Ecosystem

This book is the outcome of four years Ph.D. research on larval fish distribution and diets in the seagrass-mangrove ecosystem of Gelang Patah, Johor, Malaysia. Marine research in the seagrass-mangrove ecosystem in Peninsular Malaysia is limited and the use of this habitat by larval fishes is poorly understood. Seagrass-mangrove ecosystem in the Johor Strait is very important to Malaysia and Singapore in terms of its fishery resources. The finding of this book provides information on diversity, distribution and feeding ecology of larval fishes. It is aimed as a technical reference for students, researchers, professionals and managers of the fisheries resource management.
