It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the National Conference on Advances in Materials Science and Technologies (AMST-2012) in Warangal, India. This conference provides an excellent venue to present the latest research results, innovative ideas and experience on current developments in the field of materials science and related technologies. This program is made up of contributed research and technical papers over a wide range of topics including phosphors, NLO materials, magnetic materials, multifunctional materials,semi-conducting materials and nano materials etc. The primary objective of this conference is to provide academic and technical professionals a unique opportunity to discuss recent developments in the related subjects both theory and experimental. The call for papers attracted a large number of scientists from all the corners of the country, India. After review, the technical committee finally accepted 47 papers for the publication in this proceedings.
