Women and politics in Nigeria

The purpose of this book is to examine the cognate role of Olufunmilayo Ransome Kuti and her enormous contributions to the political development of Nigeria. Her struggle with other nationalists for the independence of Nigeria is very crucial to the history of Nigeria. Importantly, her political achievements have broken the barrier set against women in politics. Her belief in a united Nigeria has also motivated her actions for the development of the country.
