Cylas sp. population, damage and yield on sweetpotato in Kenya

This is a comprehensive research work on actual scenario of Cylas sp. damage which is a major production constraint to sweetpotato farmers worldwide. The research has analyzed in details the possible management practices that can be applied to help in reduction of massive yield losses caused by the pest. The results and findings can be used in identifying the best variety pocesing desirable attributes to the farmers and consumers especially located in the rift valley region of Kenya. Included are several findings and recommendations for future research aimed at advancing the farmers potential to achieve higher and sustainable yields.
