The Representation of Women Character in Moroccan Cinema

The present study spotlights on the ways women character are represented in male and female Moroccan directed films respectively, produced between 1999 and 2013 as case studies. The objective of this study is to compare the representation (s) of women in Moroccan male and female cineastes’ cinematic films, on the one hand. On the other hand, the present study aims to detect whether Moroccan cinema is a feminist-oriented cinema.
