Aflatoxins and Safety Issues in Dairy Feeds and Milk in Ethiopia

The production of quality milk is constrained by the quality and safety of feed supply. Aflatoxin is one of the major contaminants that compromise the quality of feeds that is transferred into livestock species and human being via meat, milk and milk products. Such study requires assessment along the feed value chain: in feed production, feed harvesting, feed processing/manufacturing, feed storage and feeding management of livestock species.
