The modern business runs in an ever-changing environment that is strongly influenced by, political, social, economic developments. The uniqueness of each employee, his interaction with the working environment and the management, the social context of each age and the changing needs of the individual within it, make it difficult to find the "absolute" motivation factors, effective for each employee. Current research empirically demonstrates the dynamic and multiple nature of motivation in the workplace and attempts to contribute to the international literature by providing a better understanding of the complex and changing concept of motivation during the economic crisis. As part of my Doctoral dissertation I conducted a field research that leads me in the writing of twelve case studies. At chapter Two, the Greek Social/ Economic frame are described, while a short Literature review about the Crisis is presented. At Chapter four the twelve case studies are presented. At the last chapter the case studies are grouped and commented. This book is a perfect choice for HR management students and HR managers. Highlights the motivation process and helps its understanding.
