Distributed Energy Sources (DER) are considered as the alternative to the rapidly depleting conventional energy sources. These DERs are different in characteristics such as inertia and short circuit (SC) capacity. The effect of different inertial behaviour of DER and low SC capacity will dominate the stability of the integrated grid with huge PV penetration. The impact of characteristic behaviour of PV towards integration with the grid is analysed in various aspects of the PV integrated grid such as power-sharing in droop connected parallel inverters, inrush current is drawn from the transformer and unbalanced voltage condition. Adaptive Reference Power (ARP) algorithm is proposed for the enhancement of power-sharing between two parallel inverters. Stability enhancement using inrush mitigation techniques addresses the issue of the inrush current phenomenon in a transformered PV integrated grid. The severity of Unbalanced Source Voltage Condition (UbSVC) increases due to the low SC aspect of PV. Mitigation from the aftermaths UbSVC in standalone MG is investigated with the help of self-sustainable compensator using Positive Sequence Component (PSC) and Dynamic phasor (DP).
