Ecological study was made on the medicinal weed, Lepidium virginicum L. 22 plant species were recorded associated with L.virginicum L. in the canal bank habitat. Two different leaf morphs appeared during February and March. The flowering start in April and extended to the end of July. Fruiting pattern was parallel to the flowering of the herb. The dieback of plant s was extended over 4 month period of August to November. The present study revealed that the fresh shoot biomass was affected significantly by the increasing of age and habitat difference.Soil salinity is not important in controlling the distribution and presence of plants in the study area, but soil fertility (nitrogen and phosphorus) is mainly what enables distribution. The results obtained from the current study are important results for the agricultural application of the Rashad plant in the significantly affected by the monthly variation, and also as the variance of habitats of the cultivation under Egyptian conditions for antioxidants, food supplement and pharmaceutical production.
