Brinjal (Solanum melongena L.) Solanceae family is one of the widely used vegetable crop by most of the people and is popular in many countries one of important vegetables-tropical countries. Brinjal is a native of india and perhaps china is a secondary centre of origin. It is an important vegetable due to its nutritive value, consisting of minerals like iron, phosphorus, calcium and vitamins like A, B and C. Unripe fruits are used primarily as vegetable in the country.The investigation on Effect of organic inputs on growth and yield of Brinjal (Solanum melongena L.)The experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 9 treatments replicated thrice. The treatments comprised of different combination of organic amendments of growing media viz., FYM, vermicompost and humic acid (Soil and foliar application)Among the different organic input combinations, number of leaves plant-1 were found to be maximum in the plants which were treated with vermicompost @ 0.5 kg plant-1 + humic acid @ 0.3 percent foliar spray at 30, 60 and 90 DAP.The no.of Branches also influenced by different organic inputs.
