TRIBES IN INDIA AND TAMIL NADU: Development and Education

This book entitled as “Tribes in India and Tamil Nadu: Development and Education” has been written about the tribal development and educational programs with a case study of the Malayali tribe in Kalrayan Hills, Villupuram district, Tamil Nadu. This book consists of two parts. The first part covers Tribes in India and Tamil Nadu, Tribal development before and after Independence and deals with the various tribal development program of both the Central and State Government of India and their benefits. The second part covers Educational policies and supportive programmes by the department of education, a report on educational schemes on tribal.
