As natural population of bioagents alone in the field are not adequate for suppression of pest population, it should be supplemented with the release of bioagents. So, the present study has been undertaken in the laboratory to know the proper suitability of prey and to mass produce them for the suppression of pest population in the field.Chrysoperla zastrowisillemi overall order of suitability of different preys by giving score to each parameter as ten points for first position and reducing one point for subsequent position. It was clear that unsterilized eggs of Corcyra cephalonicascored highest points of overall suitability (158) followed by sterilized eggs (141), Aphis craccivora (122), Aphis gossypii (113), Brevicoryne brassicae (104) and Uroleucon compositae (82).From the present research studies it can be concluded that unsterilized eggs of Corcyra cephalonicawas found to be the most suitable host for mass rearing of the predator, Chrysoperla zastrowisillemi.
