This book is based on a research project the author conducted in New Zealand. The research study examines the views of tertiary level educators on the impact of cyber learning on moral development in tertiary education. Moral development theory that explains the cognitive development process of moral reasoning and decision making has been used as a framework. Some of the propositions that emerged from the research study were that ''Cyber learning has resulted in the birth of a ''Cyber Identity''; ''Cyber Choice'' in cyber learning overrules moral reasoning; cyber learning has resulted in ''Cyber Freedom''; and cyber learning introduces students in to ''Cyber Illusion'' in virtual reality. At a time when tertiary providers are rushing to embrace everything in the name of profitable technological progress, author stresses the importance of equipping tertiary students with tools of moral reasoning and decision-making skills and believes that it is the responsibility of tertiary education institutions to contribute to the intellectual development as well as moral development of tertiary students.
