A robotic ball game: development of physical and computer prototypes

An industrial designer's job is to solve problems of form, usability, ergonomics or marketing through design solutions which ensure good user interaction with a product. The purpose of the game described in this book was to introduce and attract young people, particularly young women, to the world of engineering. A ball game that included a robotic arm was designed to provide both amusement and education at exhibitions and in student environments.
