The tourism industry in recent years has become the largest industry and income generator in the world especially for the developing countries especially for Thailand. Among millions of tourists, Indians as well travel temporarily away from home to experience hospitality and explore the world around them. The rapid growth of India's outbound tourism market has attracted a great deal of attention to many countries in recent years. Thailand is one among those. Many Indians are also venturing on their first trip abroad, and find Thailand the best place to start their international travels, because it fits in well with their budget and time availability. The Indian market is relatively new and unknown for Thailand. The analysis should help Thailand to increase the arrival of Indian tourists meeting their needs and expectations. Based on the findings of the work, the researcher suggested the necessary tourism market planning strategies to grow and strengthen the Indian tourist market by different marketing mix factors “Seven Ps”. Some important recommendations are also proposed.
