Formulation and evaluation of Diltiazem hydrochloride transdermalpatch

This work was carried out at the Jayamukhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. This work is helpful for the transdermal drug development. The transdermal patch was prepared and characterized by suitable physiochemical parameters. The prepared formulation is optimized by suitable parameters. Some of the designed formulations produced extended drug release. The structure of the formulations characterized by I.R. Spectroscopy.
