Second Language Acquisition and Quality of Life

This book is a collection of three studies on an interdisciplinary topic: second language acquisition (L2) and the quality of life (QoL). The studies of this book bring the QoL to the attention of the L2 educators and researchers with the hope that understanding and addressing the students’ QoL would benefit L2 teaching and learning. The third chapter of this book reports the process of developing a measurement on the quality of college life. The development procedure in this chapter can serve as an example for researchers who are interested in developing a measurement for their studies.
