Socioeconomic and demographic determinants of poverty in Pakistan

In most developing countries like Pakistan where a large number of people living in condition of poverty.people have not only low incomes but they also suffering from lack of access over basic needs.The present book is designed to analyze how the socioeconomic and demographic characteristics of household effects on poverty in Pakistan. Data was obtained from Pakistan Social and Living Standard Measurement Survey (PSLM) 2008-2009. This study will provide guides lines for formulating policies and interventions that will help to alleviate poverty. With the view to providing recommendations for policy formulation that could help to reduce poverty and improve the living conditions of the people in Pakistan
