The current research investigated K-12 educator's perspectives on sexual education and violence prevention. Interviews with 12 educators resulted several key findings after in-depth analysis. For example, it was found that even in the 21st century, educators are still uncomfortable with the topic of sexual education, especially pertaining to sexual violence. However, teachers do find sexual education and sexual violence education to be very important, despite their discomfort with the topics. Educators believe sexual education and sexual violence education, just like all other topics of education, empower the students with knowledge, in this case of right and wrong as it pertains to sexual violence.
