The Japanese quail

The study evaluated the performance of Japanese quails under standard management conditions with a view to providing their basic production and genetic characteristics; and identifying their potentials for improvement in egg and meat production. The growth, carcass, reproduction, egg production and egg quality traits of Japanese were examined and analysed.
