Technology and equipment for primary cotton processing

The cotton growing and cotton ginning industry occupies a central place in the economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The reforms implemented by the government in the cotton industry were an important element in the planned development of the country and its transition to a market economy. The country is implementing comprehensive measures to develop the cotton industry, modernize and modernize cotton ginning enterprises, improve the profitability of production and processing of raw cotton, as well as competitiveness of manufactured products. The main products of the cotton ginning industry – is cotton fiber - are competitive in the world market for technical products. Revenues from its sale on the international market are important articles of foreign exchange earnings to the budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Thanks to large volumes of the cotton fiber production, Uzbekistan is a leading participant in the global cotton industry, ranking sixth in manufacturing and fifth in its exports.
