Today's common and severe problems faced at work place is stress. Occupational Stress is a feeling of stress involved in work. Occupational stress arises in a situation where there is disparity between the want of the work place and individual’s capacity to act and complete those wants. A stressful work environment contributes to problems such as head ache, stomachache, sleep disturbance, short temper, difficult in concentrating, weak end immune system, blood pressure. The most persuasive organizational stressors, that the organization has found costly in the stress induced due to roles performed by individuals as an employee at work place. The stress induced by the role performed by all level of employees of steel industry is a matter of worth attention too, as it is emphasized that role stress occurs in employee’s jobs that involve direct interaction with customers and such employees are prone to relatively greater level of role stress. Finally, if the psychological well-being and employees health would be enhanced, in forthcoming the organization would be a successful organization with financial improvement uplifts as well as it will retention its employees.
