During the present investigation it is found that application of two irrigation first at tillering and second at flag leaf stage (13) along with 90kg nitrogen per hectare gives highest grain yield, straw yield, nitrogen content and nitrogen uptake by grain, straw and protein content as compare to other irrigation (no irrigation-Io); one irrigation at tillering stage -I1; one irrigation at flag leaf stage -I2) and nitrogen treatments (N0, N30 and N60 kg/ha)
