This book focuses on a study that explored the process of management of change in Teacher education in five private universities in Kenya. The study revealed that factors that were driving change were; the need for quality in teacher education, emerging issues such as HIV/AIDS, technology, globalization, market forces, and Kenya Vision 2030. The management team followed due process in the implementation of the changes, in certain cases sought alternative ways. Mann-Whitney U test revealed that there was statistically significant difference between Teacher Educators and Teacher Trainees’ involvements in the change process. Spearman rho correlation coefficients between levels of teacher educators’ and teacher trainees’ involvements and ratings on management of change were also significant. Factors that facilitated the change process were; dedication to improve students’ learning, commitments to strategic curriculum change, and alternative strategies led to effective management of change while overloads, insufficient information, lack of training and resources were hindrances.
