An observational study was carried out to evaluate discrepancy between clinical and final diagnosis of total abdominal hysterectomy in a tertiary level hospital in Dhaka, Bangladesh. A total of 100 patients having total abdominal hysterectomy were enrolled. The study revealed that peroperative findings were similar to clinical diagnosis in 87% cases and histopathological findings were similar to clinical diagnosis in 84% cases i.e., clinical diagnoses in hysterectomy patients were mostly consistent with the peroperative findings and also with the histopathological findings.
