Children with conduct problems induce stress and trouble for parents, teachers and peers. A risk factor for the development of conduct problems is recognized as parental monitoring. Present study was aimed to explore predictive relationship between parental monitoring and conduct problems among children. Randomly selected sample of 100 children (50 boys and 50 girls) and their mothers was approached by different schools of Multan. Two scales were used in study, Disruptive Behavior Disorder Rating Scale (Malik, T.A, 2011) and Parental Monitoring Scale (Capaldi & Patterson, 1989). Finding depict that monitoring has significant impact on conduct problems. Result of the study corroborates a significant negative relationship between parental monitoring and conducts problems. No significant gender differences were found on parental monitoring and conduct problems. Significant differences were found on parental monitoring and conduct problems in term of socioeconomic status and maternal factors (Mother’s education, age and working status). Parental awareness, positive parenting program and parental management training will help to increase parental monitoring and cease conduct problems
