There are challenges in teaching research methods and these shoots from undergraduates feeling disengaged from the process and culture of research. The researcher was interested to investigate how teachers were teaching research methods as a course, what were their experiences while teaching the subject and most importantly, how did they develop their teaching strategies overtime. The study aimed to provide professors various teaching strategies in research. The study used the inductive method of theory generation using narrative inquiry approach. Stories told by the teachers were retold using the six phases of Labov’s narrative analysis. Inquirers narrated stories or events thought sequentially on the experience throughout the time one examined a series of events told in the story. The results and findings of the study were in the restorying of the six professors.
