Phytosociological and Productivity Studies of Shankaracharya

This book provides insight into the Phytosociological parameters like Density, frequency, abundance , Relative Density, Relative Frequency , Relative abundance and Importance value index of trees, Shrubs and herbs etc. Community characteristics are very much important in evaluating the status of any forest. It also provides information about the productivity of the forest ecosystem. Shankaracharya forest ecosystem , a coniferous forest , is located on the bank of Dal lake in Srinagar City (Jammu and Kashmir).
