DOMESTIC SOLID WASTE QUANTITY AND COMPOSITION ANALYSIS

Domestic solid waste quantity and composition analysis is one of the fundamental inputs for planning of solid waste management services.This study was done to determine the domestic solid waste generation rates at the source of generation, to decipher the chemical composition of solid wastes and to determine the role of socio- economic levels in household wastes generation rate in Arada sub - city, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
