Acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) is a malignant disorder common among children. Apoptosis or programmed cell death is greatly involved in the mechanism of cancer development as well as drug resistance to cancer and it is the primary mechanism through which most chemotherapeutic agents induce tumor cell death. Total leukocytic count, hemoglobin, platelet count and Bone marrow blast count were used for follow up of patients. CD95 % and Bcl-2 concentration used as a new markers. It was found that both CD95 % and Bcl-2 concentration are useful diagnostic markers that may help not only in diagnosis but also in follow up of ALL cases. However, further studies are still needed involving larger number of patients and comparing values at diagnosis with values after completing the whole treatment course. It's also recommended to give Zn supplement to children with ALL in order to achieve rapid and permanent recovery.
