Induction motor applications have increased very much in the last fifty years. Particularly over the last few years the PV powered squirrel cage induction motor utilization has significantly increased in industrial, agriculture and domestic applications. The power consumption, performance and efficiency of induction motor can be adjusted by using control circuits.
