The main objective of this study was to examine the relationship that exists between the cartography and the state of unprotected water wells. It also studied the diffusion of water-related diseases and proposed suitable designs to curb the water and sanitation problems in the study site. This study presented a practical and empirical problem on unprotected well water. The main hypothesis stated that the study site’s cartography and state of unprotected water wells enhanced the diffusion of water-related diseases. Data needed for this study was collected from primary and secondary sources and treated for each specific hypothesis. Interpretative methods, statistical and descriptive methods of analysis were used. All hypotheses were tested to be correct. This study has proposed a framework to remedy the diffusion of water-related diseases. Other proposed remedial measures include the Ecological Sanitation paradigm and new approaches to sanitation. Preventive measures have been proposed for household safe storage, water treatment processes, and system.
