Chlamydia trachomatis is a silent killer disease, it is an ubiquitous human pathogen which is responsible worldwide for the most prevalent bacterial sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). It is an obligate intracellular bacterial pathogen that infects the genital and ocular mucosa of humans which is estimated that about 70-75% of endocervical infections in human is caused by the bacterium “Chlamydia trachomatis”. It is asymptomatic in nature and may persist for months to years. A mathematical model was developed which describes the dynamics of Chlamydia trachomatis infection in a human carrier by incorporating relevant features such recovery class through drug administration and waning off immunity. The existence and uniqueness of solutions of the model were examined. The stability analysis of the critical points was conducted. The results show that it is globally asymptotically stable under certain conditions.
