The Political and Economic Contributions of Cameroonian Diasporas

The Cameroonian Diasporas in the United States of America and Great Britain are made up of Cameroonians with various potentials and talents.Thus, the need to assess their contributions to the Political and Economic Development of Cameroon. To do this, we made use of the theories of Nationalism including the premordialist, socio-biologisst, and economistic as well as political ideological theories.We made use of questionnaires, interviews for both Diasporas and their families at home.We also observed the activities as well as the impact of these activities at home, families, infrastructure, political chessboard of Cameroon. We used the qualitative, quantitative, comparative and case study methods.Our research designs were; descriptive and cross sectional survey.From our respondents,it was revealed that many Cameroonians in the USA and Great Britain, left the country as a result of political,economic and socio-cultural reasons.The results equally revealed that Cameroonian Diasporas contribute enormously to the political and economic development of the home country making them to become a veritable actor of development
