Heterosis and Combining Ability Effects in Sorghum

Sorghum is one among the five major cereals of the world, being grown extensively in tropical and subtropical environments. It is the staple food crop for a large section of people and also serves as a main source of fodder, feed and industrial raw material.The present investigation is designed to study the combining ability and heterotic pattern of 8 agronomically superior and 3 drought tolerant testers.
