Successful Micro and Small enterprises of the Dire Dawa administration had over all Interpersonal skills (mean of 4.5 with the standard deviation of 0.6), Business skills (mean of 3.83 with the s/d of 0.81), Entrepreneurial skills (4.42 with the s/d of 0.65), and Technical skills (mean of 4.56 with s/d of 0.51) implying that technical skills were the prior skills of these MSEs followed by interpersonal skills, entrepreneurial and business skills. There is no problem of perception regarding these four skills albeit there is a significant skill gap on technical, entrepreneurial, interpersonal and business skills between successful and unsuccessful Micro and Small enterprises of the Administration.
