The Role of the Church in Peace, Justice and Reconciliation

“It's so hard to forget pain, but it's even harder to remember sweetness. We have no scar to show for happiness. We learn so little from peace.” ― This words by Chuck Palahniuk are very true for our society today. We always enjoy the little peace and justice that we may have within our reach; Yet at the slightest provocation brother has been pitied against brother and sister against sister. We live in a world that is prone to violence, yet the words of Jesus Christ still stand relevant to all people, "blessed are the peace makers for they will be called sons of God."
