Resolution Enhancement

Photogrammetry is the science of extracting three-dimensional data from overlapping sets of images. To obtain the higher accuracy, it has been essential to obtain high-resolution images. This book describes the implementation of a process that is device independent and can combine several low-resolution images into one single high- resolution composite. The process is illustrated with applications that show its implementation using Harmonic theory to model the grey scale surface of the enhanced image. The book will therefore be of importance to practitioners in a wide range of disciplines that require higher resolution imaging.
