The first part of this book contains the understanding of the concepts related to environmental law by taking into consideration the Articles and provisions of Indian Constitution. Further, The concept of Sustainable Development has been discussed in the light of international scenario along with its different general principles. Climate change has been discussed in the light of UN Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) in 1992. The role of Judiciary which has strengthened the constitutional mandate and sustainable development has been discussed with various case laws. At the end remedies given in Indian Indian Constitution have been discussed with some suggestions. In second part important environmental principles have been discussed by focusing light on Environmental Degradation and its ill effects as well as impact of the same on Right to Health. With the help of some Constitutional provisions the author has tried to cover the legal aspect of environmental degradation and health. At the end the paper is concluded by mentioning remedial measures to overcome the problem of environmental degradation and reducing its ill effects.
