It is well known that extended periods of high ambient temperature coupled with high relative humidity compromise the ability of livestock to dissipate excess body heat. Remarkably, high ambient temperature of 40 degree Celsius could imposed heat stress on rabbit reproduction potentials in terms of young per female (Doe's) per year at a consistent 'hot spell' period, within a season. Imperatively, temperature and relative humidity values have been to compute temperature-humidity index (THI), which are function of heat stress level on the rabbit. This study was therefore carried out to evaluate the effect of temperature-humidity index (THI) on the performance of rabbit raised in Benin City, Nigeria. The results of this study should help to determine the the effect of temperature-humidity index (THI) on the rabbit performance, by evaluations of average temperature and relative humidity of the rabbit house, physiological indices, reproductive traits of the breeding doe's rabbits in the different THI For twelve months and the four categorized South-south seasons in the rainforest agro-ecological zone, estimated THI on Kits Bi-weekly Live Body Weight, doe productivity/indices.
