These unique events test the limits of governing systems and endanger the lives of the citizens. Those in command have the responsibility to safeguard or at least minimize the impacts of the crisis, however, sometimes the public has unreal expectations of what can be achieved in certain situations. The book concentrates on the two crucial elements of crisis management, communication and coordination, and their requirements for effective crisis response.
