Dark Energy: The Driving Force Of Accelerating Universe

The dark energy which is driving the observed acceleration of the present universe, is the most important and challenging issue of modern cosmology. Despite various proposed theories, its nature still remains enigmatic. Trying to shed light on this dark part of the universe, the co-existence of various dark energy models and their effects on the acceleration of the universe have been presented in this book. In the quest of suitable model of the universe we have seen non-linear electrodynamics in logamediate, intermediate and emergent scenarios generate sufficient dark energy to drive high acceleration of the universe in the framework of Horava-Lifshitz gravity.
