The purpose of this book is to reconstruct, in a broad sense, the academic life or unreal life, and of the scientific influence of the Prof. Dr. Luis Adauto Medeiros with the Brazilian and international mathematical community, in the period that goes since the end of the 1940s, when he was admitted to the undergraduate course in Mathematics at the National Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Brazil (FNFi-UB in Portuguese), by the end of 2017. Basically this book deals with one of the most colorful episodes of the mathematics in Brazil, the Brazilian school of PDE.
