Millenniums in use

This book discusses the production of meaning and discursive practices for several millenniums in use on a daily newspaper of great circulation. This way, we identified four versions of a more globalized millennium. These were, 1) the millennium as a party, 2) the millennium as the end, 3) the millennium as the bug, and 4) the millennium as a long time. To deep the analysis, the uses of the word millennium in a daily newspaper were summed and analyzed for three years. Amidst all this data, a new Millenium in circulation was identified which is called The Millenium as The Turning Point. This presented itself as a type of future and change that is scheduled, postponed, and allocated in the future. Social Psychology and the constructive approach enabled the identification of several millenniums in use, and also provided the discussion of future time narratives, which are more than crucial in this time of colonizing the future.
