A 3-year field experimental treatments made up of 0, 2500kg/ha cow dung manure [COM], 2500kg/ha poultry manure [POM] with 250, 300 and 350 kg/ha/year of NPK15-15-15 in combination of 1, 2 and 3m inter- row plant spacing was arranged in a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with 3 replications. Inferences very spectacular; verified indices of number of secondary branches (NSB), leaf area [LA], leaf area index [LAI], net assimilation rate [NAR], leaf area ratio [LAR], relative growth rate [RGR], crop growth rate [CGR], canopy cover [CC] and dry matter yield [DMY], no. of fruit bunch per plant [NFB], fruit size [FS], no. of seeds per fruit bunch [NSBs], calyx yield [CY], seed yield [SY], seed N, P and K contents were significantly influenced. Significant interaction was only found in NSB, LA, LAI, NAR, RGR, LAR, CGR and DMY. Linkages within indices either at 0.01 or 0.05 probability levels; some were significantly high, near perfect, perfect and positive. Others are significantly weak, positive, negative and strongly negative. The book relief experiences on how performance of Jatropha in a tropical environment, is tailored along certain crop production rhythms.
