The success of root canal treatment depends upon proper diagnosis and treatment planning, knowledge of canal anatomy and morphology, canal debridement, sterilization of canal and obturation. Developing materials that will aid in sealing the root canal system from the “putrefactive conditions and their resultant evils” results in not only providing patient’s with the best care and comfort, but also improves treatment success.
