Contribution of faculty members to the flow of Information

The role of a teacher in the university is obviously an important one. On him rests the responsibilities of not only acquiring new knowledge but also disseminating it to younger generations. The present work is aimed to study the professional development of the university teacher, which is the root cause for flow of information, and the information seeking behaviour, methods followed for generating and transferring information by the university teachers.
