Ageratum conyzoides is a member of the family of “Asteraceace” and it is increasingly being used in traditional medicine for the treatment of diverse ailments. The book contains an indepth review of literature on medicinal plants. It also reported studies on the purification, isolation and characterization of active phytochemicals from Ageratum conyzoides. Antioxidant, anti-cancer, anti- influenza, anti-HBeAg and anti-HBsAg properties as well as in vivo toxicity potentials of this plant were also reported.
