Pilgrimage of Fergana Valley (The Period of the Spread of Islam)

Pilgrims embody the history and customs of each nation, religious views and national spirit, ancient dreams and aspirations, as well as the elimination of family problems along with bloody conflicts, natural disasters, socio-economic problems in the history of mankind, and are gaining great importance in finding their solutions. The lifestyle, ethnic history, customs of a particular nation, in short, its past, are displayed in the sacred shrines. This is the reason why the study of traditional culture, customs and rituals of peoples has increased in the science of ethnology. Shrines associated with Islamic scholars and representatives of the Tasawwuf order serve as an important research object not only in the Ferghana Valley but also in the study of the history of Islam in Central Asia.
